City of Dallas: Resources for Seniors – Senior Services, 1500 Marilla, Room 2 DN, Dallas 75201, 214-243-2049. Senior Services personnel increase community awareness of services available for older adults and advocate issues that concern persons 60 years and over.
Services available include: Wheelchair ramp assistance (214-670-5227); Grandparents Raising Grandchildren (214-670-7882); Senior Substance Abuse Program (214-670-0199); Crisis Intervention (214-670-4225); Adult Health Services (214-670-0551); Minor Home Repair (214-670-3631), and Water Deposits Waived (214-651-1441).
Other Services: Park Department/Information on recreation center activities for older adults (214-670-4100); Fire Department/Home inspections for fire safety (214-670-4319); City services assistance (3-1-1); Dental Services/Provides contractual dental services for qualified persons 60 years of age and over.
